L'Abri
This exceptional cuvée of Merlot is produced through vinification integral with 100% new oak. A cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by a gentle extraction amplifies the bouquet of the wine over time and obtains a generous body with deep tannins. The texture is silky and the finish is long with roasted and vanilla notes. It delivers charm and presence. Only 1200 bottles were produced.

Tradition
The traditional cuvée from Château Magdeleine Bouhou is made with a blend of Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). It benefits from the same care in the vineyard as in the cellar. It expresses roundness and freshness. The crispy fruit gives us a supple wine with an immediate pleasure. Easy to drink while young, it still has a good aging potential.

Sans Soufre
Our 'No Added Sulpher' wines come in three guises - Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. They each have their own character. Our Merlot is full of fruit and roundness, it offers a full mouth with a beautiful aroma. It works well as an aperitif or to accompany your salads and barbecue. Our Malbec shows that this grape offers a wide aromatic palette between floral, fresh fruit and spice notes. Served barely chilled, this special, rare wine, light and supple, never leaves you indifferent. Finally, the Cabernet Franc reveals a deep purple colour and develops an attractive nose of red fruits, morello cherry, wild blackberries and thyme scents. This cuvée is a new approach of the Cabernet Sauvignon. A dry white, with a very slight tint that reminds us of it’s origins. we find notes of citrus fruits and peach. With a beautiful mouth, the acidity and a little fattiness blend exceptionally well together.

Tasting notes | This cuvée is a new approach of the Cabernet Sauvignon. A dry white, with a very slight tint that reminds us of it’s origins. we find notes of citrus fruits and peach. With a beautiful mouth, the acidity and a little fattiness blend exceptionally well together. |
